She has held positions on various local school PTA boards, school Site Councils, as well as is a former executive board member for the Service Unit 17 of Girls Scouts Central California South and a former Tulare County Girl Scout troop leader. She was also on the board for the Visalia Friendship House, a local non-profit organization that provides a safe place for kids of the local community to have events and meetings.
